Frequently Asked Questions

Can I be licensed as a Christian Counselor without going back to school?

Yes, you can be licensed. We can also help you qualify for you Bachelors (B.A.), Masters (M.A.), and even your Doctorate (Ph.D.) through one of N.C.C.A.'s 12 participating colleges.

Can I accept remuneration for counseling?

            Absolutely.

Do I have to be state licensed to be a counselor?

Will I be trained to help those who are hurting?

Yes. The training enables you to effectively help 92 out of every 100 who seek your counsel.

   Is the training Biblically sound?

Definitely. The N.C.C.A. ministry is totally devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and all training is based on the Holy Scriptures.

Professional Training

Because of the need for professional training and the need for credentials and diplomas, the N.C.C.A. has developed a training program that includes a therapeutic counseling model for Christian workers, ministers, and professional counselors.

Your credentials will open many doors as you continue in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ. The National Christian Counselors Association provides a variety of memberships, complete with suitable documents designed for framing.

NOTE: License

NOTE: License

The N.C.C.A.'s certification/licensing program is not to be confused with any state licensure. This program is provided for those who are called, by the Lord, into the "Ministry of Counseling" and want to be

"Agent of the Church" rather than "Agent of the State".

Members will resist the perspective that emotes the superiority of our discipline to the negation of other disciplines. It is our desire to present a holistic, cooperative approach with other counseling and mental health professionals.
