There's
An Early Church Re-Emerging
"Who
We Are"
We
are
a n
International Gentile Christian
Fellowship proclaiming Jesus
Christ in many settings. We
are Evangelical / Messianic in behavior,
making known the origins of
our faith.
We
Once Were Lost, But Now
We're Found
We
are folks who for years,
traveled our own way,
taking the path of our own
choosing.
One day, we came to a
crossroad and chose the
ancient path;
The Good way; God's
way.
(See
Jeremiah 6:16)
We
ache to experience the
origins of our faith
and gather as the early
church did.

| WHAT'S
A GENTILE CHRISTIAN? |
“The early church, as it was being created following
Jesus’ ascension, was located right where people live. The Apostle Paul
traveled to and wrote letters to the pastors of those home gatherings. He
referred to them as the church of Priscilla and Aquilla’s house, for
example. Paul states in Acts 20:20 that‘...I taught you publicly, and
from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks,
repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.’"
Fellowship
Hebrew
10:22-25 reads:
"let us draw
near to God with a sincere
heart in full assurance of
faith, having our hearts
sprinkled to cleanse us from
a guilty conscience and
having our bodies washed
with pure water. Let us hold
unswervingly to the hope we
profess, for he who promised
is faithful. And let us
consider how we may spur one
another on toward love and
good deeds. Let us not give
up meeting together, as some
are in the habit of doing,
but let us encourage one
another—and all the more
as you see the Day
approaching."
We have
significant privileges associated with our life in Christ:
-
We
have personal access to God through Christ and can draw near to
Him without an elaborate system. (10:22)
-
We can
grow in faith, overcome doubts and questions, and deepen our
relationship with God. (10:23)
-
We can
enjoy motivation from one another. (10:24)
-
We can
worship together (10:25)
To neglect
meeting together is to give up encouragement and the help of other
Christians. We should gather together to share our faith and to strengthen each
family unit and one another in the Lord. As we get closer to the
"Day" when Christ will return, we will face many spiritual
struggles, and even times of persecution. All ready we see
anti-Christian forces growing in strength.
We should look for
opportunities within our
sphere of neighbors, family members, friends,
co-workers, etc. Believers and
non believers. Many have abandoned fellowship for what
ever reason. Perhaps they have been wounded by the "Church".
Perhaps they have a distorted image of God. Coming together in a small,
intimate gathering in a home will heal relationships between ourselves
and with God, They will convey the truth. Emotional
and spiritual needs will be met. Souls will be restored, hearts will
rejoice.
