There's An Early Church Re-Emerging

"Who We Are"

We are an International Gentile Christian Fellowship proclaiming Jesus Christ in many settings. We are Evangelical in behavior,
making known the origins of our faith.

We Once Were Lost, But Now We're Found
We are folks who for years, traveled our own way,
taking the path of our own choosing.
One day, we came to a crossroad and chose the ancient path;
The Good way; God's way.
(See Jeremiah 6:16)

We ache to experience the origins of our faith
and gather as the early church did.

WHAT'S A GENTILE CHRISTIAN? |

“The early church, as it was being created following Jesus’ ascension, was located right where people live. The Apostle Paul traveled to and wrote letters to the pastors of those home gatherings. He referred to them as the church of Priscilla and Aquilla’s house, for example. Paul states in Acts 20:20 that‘...I taught you publicly, and from house to house, testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.’"

Fellowship

Hebrew 10:22-25 reads: "let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

We have significant privileges associated with our life in Christ:

  1. We have personal access to God through Christ and can draw near to Him without an elaborate system. (Hebrews 10:22)

  2. We can grow in faith, overcome doubts and questions, and deepen our relationship with God. (Hebrews 10:23)

  3. We can enjoy motivation from one another. (Hebrews 10:24)

  4. We can worship together (Hebrews 10:25)

To neglect meeting together is to give up encouragement and the help of other Christians. We gather together to share our faith and to strengthen each family unit and one another in the Lord. As we get closer to the "Day" when Christ will return, we will face many spiritual struggles, and even times of persecution. All ready we see anti-Christian forces growing in strength.

We look for opportunities within our sphere of neighbors, family members, friends, co-workers, etc. Believers and non-believers. Coming together in a small, intimate gathering heals relationships between ourselves and with God, They convey the truth. Emotional and spiritual needs are met. Souls are restored, hearts rejoice.

Grafted In Symbol

Rom 11:16-24

For if the first fruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in." Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Speaking to Gentile Christians, Paul warns them not to feel superior because some Jews were rejected. Abraham's faith is like the root of a productive tree, and the Jewish people are the tree's natural branches. Because of faithlessness, some of the Jews have been broken off, and Gentile believers, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. Both Jews and Gentiles share the tree's nourishment based on faith in God; neither can rest on heritage or culture for salvation.
